General information (not applicable at the moment because of COVID-19 restrictions):
Our preseason training runs from mid-July until end of August in Hyde Park on Mondays and Wednesdays.
During the regular season, from September to April, we train at Coram’s Fields, our Wednesday location. This is the most central rugby training facility in London, within 2 minutes walk from Russell Square and 5 minutes from Holborn/Chancery Lane/King’s Cross St. Pancras tube stations. This translates to a maximum tube journey time of 20 minutes for anyone located in up to Zone 3.
The 3G Tiger-turf (shock-absorbing) and floodlight pitch is a top-quality facility. Secure changing facilities and showers are provided. Physios are on hand to assess players and give massages and treatment. As with all Belsize training some social re-hydration is recommended in the neighbouring pub afterwards.
Mandatory footwear is non-metallic moulded or plastic or rubber studs (cleats) and these must be perfectly round/circular (No edges or blades or triangles etc. permitted). Trainers may be worn by backs but are NOT RECOMMENDED.
We have 24 coaches including Professional players.
